Croatian players left a pitchside photographer sprawled out on the floor as they celebrated Mario Mandzukic’s goal in extra time which handed them a World Cup semi-final win against England.
With the scores level at 1-1, striker Mandzukic latched onto a flick-on from teammate Ivan Perisic to shoot the ball low past Jordan Pickford and into the England net.
The goal proved decisive as Croatia ran out 2-1 winners after extra time, and the celebrations in its wake swept up one unlucky photographer pitchside.
As a group of ecstatic Croatian players and substitutes jumped over the hoardings at the side of the pitch, they knocked over the photographer, who became swamped by the celebrating team.
He was later seen sprawled out on the floor, with Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic checking to see if he was OK.
The man appeared to be fine and took the incident in good spirits, smiling as he was helped back to his feet.
Croatia beat England to book their first-ever spot in the World Cup final, having fallen short at the semi-final stage in France in 1998.
