Broadcast legend Larry King has paid tribute to the late ‘Queen of Soul,’ Aretha Franklin, who passed away on Thursday aged 76.
Speaking to RT, King reminisced about the “revolutionary” singer, who “knew who she was, knew what she wanted, and got what she wanted.” He remembered Franklin’s personality, her generosity, and of course her voice.
“She was one of those people who comes along, that you’ll never duplicate,” King said. “You never had to say her last name. She was one of a kind.”
