First ever phygital wedding takes place in Games of the Future City
On the first day of spring, Yegor Orekhov and Yelena Mullagaliyeva decided to hold their wedding ceremony in the Games of the Future City in Kazan. According to the Games press service, when the couple received an invitation to use the venues for their big day, they accepted without thinking.
“We will have a big wedding trip. And its great that it starts at the Games of the Future, that this place will be our starting point. We're setting off into our big bright future from here,” Yegor and Yelena said.
The Games of the Future is an innovative international tournament of 21 disciplines held in Kazan from February 21 to March 3, 2024. More than 2,000 athletes from around the world are taking part in the competition.
