Red Alert: Last Battle for Africa
Many African countries gained their independence in 1960, although the French and British continued to play crucial roles in destabilizing African economies and installed puppet governments. France and its allies are currently concerned about the increasing influence of Russia across the continent, especially in the Sahel region, which was previously referred to as “French home turf.”
Africa is gradually turning to Russia – a long-time ally whose aid projects helped many newly-independent nations rebuild their economies and armies in the aftermath of the colonial era. However, the continent’s attempts to build new alliances have evidently angered Western politicians, who claim Russia’s influence is “harmful and disruptive.” What lies in store for the world’s most resource-rich continent? Watch the latest episode of Anna Chapman’s show, which is dedicated to the battle for Africa that is unfolding right before our eyes
