Taliban invites select countries to ‘formation event’; thousands take to streets
Thousands of anti-Taliban protesters took to the streets in Kabul in the midst of the Taliban announcing the formation of its new government; Afghan women joining with anti-Pakistan demonstrators to rebel against Taliban rule. The Taliban gave an early glimpse of its foreign policy after inviting Russia, China, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and Qatar to attend a government formation event. RT America’s John Huddy has the latest.
