LA Democrats done coddling criminals — or are they?

A new tough-on-crime attitude appears to be taking root in California in the face of endemic “smash-and-grab” crime and rising homicides across the state. Are Democrats softening their animosity toward law enforcement and trying to refashion their apparent demonization of law enforcement and coddling of crime?
