Moscow lashes out at the EU over what it sees as Brussels jumping to conclusions, with little regard for the truth. The statement comes after European lawmakers pass a resolution calling for tougher sanctions on Russia for what they say was a clear assassination attempt against opposition figurehead Alexey Navalny. Navalny himself is claiming on social media, he was poisoned in his hotel room in the Siberian city of Tomsk.
