It’s been more than 70 years since the creation of Israel, and no major international actor has questioned its right to exist, except, perhaps, for the Israelis themselves. Allegations of anti-Semitism surface in almost every critical discussion of Israeli policies, often to aid the government’s side and shut down the conversation altogether. Is it still possible to analyze and criticize Israel’s policies without being branded an enemy of the state?
