Pele wishes Cristiano Ronaldo luck ahead of Juventus debut
The Brazilian legend has sent good luck wishes to his Portuguese counterpart ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus debut, and revealed that the Turin club tried to sign him in the early 1960s.
Pele, who is widely considered to be the best football player in history, sent the message to five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo ahead of his Juventus debut at Chievo Verona on Saturday.
“Good luck, Cristiano, for your first game with @juventusfc,” he wrote on Twitter.
