“Obama’s take on healthcare an absolute moral outrage”

More and more Americans believe Barack Obama has not delivered his promises on the economy, says US author and blogger David Swanson.

Among other things, Swanson criticizes Obama’s take on healthcare reform:

“It’s an absolute moral outrage that he [President Obama] takes a stand on whether to spend money rather than whether to cover people with healthcare, when he is funding outrageous foreign occupation to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars every year – the largest military budget, beyond that in the history of the planet, bankrupt bailouts and now IMF bailouts for Eastern Europe and bankers that are putting our great grandchildren into debt.

“And he has the nerve to say that the fundamental moral question on healthcare is whether it costs any money,” Swanson told RT.
